Recommended Repair facilities....

I have used Louis Wan (the owner operator) of Chips Away Guildford to repair two cars now. My beloved Chrysler 300c and a Dodge Caliber. The 300c was keyed, front to back and Louis erased any evidence of it. It was gone, even on close inspection I had a hard time seeing any evidence.
I took delivery of the Caliber two weeks ago from a garage who promised the car was dent/scratch/repair free. It wasn't, the bumper had had a previous "SMART" repair and the roof was badly scratched in two location. Louis came, evaluated, spoke to the garage on my behalf then went to work. He was here for 5 hours and totally erased the problems. The bumper looks better than new, again even at very close quarters any evidence has gone. The roof has a tiny amount of paint depth fluctuation but is improved by 90%. Louis stopped as he felt that too much over polishing might compromise the lacquer coat thickness and he didn't want to respray the roof!
All in all I'd say that Louis exercises great skill and commitment and I would have no hesitation in using him again as he gives honest advice and never raises your expectations of what is possible.
I would say go see him and improve the looks of your car if it's been in a minor altercation!

P.S. Chips Away operators are franchisees. If you've heard that they are bad then it may just be the one operator,all I can say is that  Louis is amazing and I am one fussy customer when it comes to cars/paint/repairs. Give him a go, tell him Stuart sent you.

I've also had excellent results from Chips Away in Essex on my previous Audi. Various chips dealt with and wheels refurbed. Recommended.

Just got my beast back, had a rear end shunt, (dam reindeers) have had a new rear bumper put on, all sprayed matched etc,though my insurance company, T C Repairs of Thornwood have done an ace job, looks a good as ever, would throughly recommend them, very helpfull which is more than i can say for my insurance co. and they let me have a small pot of paint to use as  a "touch up" when needed,
