Any update on the bumper removal giude please

Its dead easy m8. I got mine of in about twenty minutes flat and fitted the sensers and cobbled it back in a bout 1.5 hours. I arent a mechanic but its only common sense. Mechanics are generally only fitters nowadays anyway....you'll be lucky to find a good un.

maybe you could write an idiots guide, shouldn't be too difficult

Excellent idea with some pics please

ive been on the tools 7 years this year since i left school and its scary everyday there is something new. cars with insturment panels that use TFT technology due to them being built by samsung

My lad is quite keen to be a motor technician, and although he's still at school, I'm going to see if I can get him on the course I'm doing (runs in the evenings) just so he can get a head start cos these seems so much involved!

Yeah my brother in law is the bodyshop manager/estimater at the local garage, so hopefully he can get in there in a year or 2 for some experience, and it may lead to an apprenticeship  - thats assuming he doesn't change his mind about what he wants to do by then!! Kids!!!

I know I ain't ythe cleverest. Im sorry to upset people but it wasnt intensional. Please don't pick on me.
Biking is me real passion. If it has to be a car it needs to stand out a bit.
I hope they don't stop making the Caliber like they say.

Cheers, the only worrying thing is my lad seems to think he's going to be the next Jock Campbell from the TV series 'The Garage'!!!!

I think I might try to get him into somewhere washing the cars on a saturday later this year.

Back on topic Guys

Fitted my Invisible parking sensors today (once I found them, they are invisible you know)
Used these in the end http://www.parkingdynamics.co.uk/
All up approx 3hrs and they seem to work OK
Better than drilling holes in plastic

They are perfect mate, first beep starts at around 20" 2nd beep from around 12" and then a solid sound at around 8". Took approx 3 hours but then that did include cleaning everything under the bumper as well. I would say 1.5 to 2 hours if it was a straight fit with no messing around.  :-)
