Thinking about a Nitro
« on: January 12, 2010, 12:22:45 AM »
Our Caliber is now over 3 yrs old and thinking about a trade in - local dealer has decent prices on used Nitros.

One of the best points with the Cally is the fold down seating, we have our own business and are often lugging boxes around that you wouldn't really fit in a normal boot so that is one of the main buying points for us. I think it would also be big enough to get the bikes in the back, can just about with a squeeze in the Caliber - not really a fan of bike racks. Although it looks quite big it's not that much bigger than a Caliber is it?

So, who has one?

Thoughts?

The Nitro hasn't had the best reviews but I ignor reviews anyway. That's why I have a Journey. You should get a good deal on a Nitro but if you're planning on selling it in a year or two my guess it's going to be worth diddly squat. Maybe a Journey might hold it's value a bit better as it's only 2 wheel drive and will probably appeal to a few more people. But I'm only guessing.

Yeah I'm not too bothered about reviews - esp by those that only consider driving German cars!

We've been more than happy with the Caliber, will have to take a trip to the dealer I think.
