I have faxed South Africa to ask if the 2010 model RHD  Caliber is or will be available there.  I will post the reply if I get one.

just a thought, if I remember correctly, in the past the new version was not released on the change of registration but came out later in the year.

A direct question for you, why on earth do you care, you no longer have a caliber you now have a Daewoo.

Second direct question why are you on this forum, you have a Daewoo not a Caliber !

It is a Chevy made by Daewoo  after a large GM investment.the Cruze will soon be made in Illinois on the GM Delta 2 platform same as used on the new Vauxhall Astra. The car is being promoted World wide probably  will achieve far higher sales than the Dodge Caliber

Listie doesn't need to ask me DB. I've stated a while ago why I was still going to be using the forum.

How about answering some of the questions put to you rather than try to divert attention?

It is a Chevy made by Daewoo  after a large GM investment.the Cruze will soon be made in Illinois

And I believe it will also still be made in South Korea, where it is marketed as a Daewoo, and the European ones are imported from the South Korea (Daewoo) factory, and re-badged?

The car is being promoted World wide probably  will achieve far higher sales than the Dodge Caliber

So do you think just because a car sells more that makes it a better car? Otherwise, not sure what relevance this has to anything.

Because I have experience unlike you with two Calibers & still like the car.  However the Chev. Cruze is a more modern design and drives  better than the Caliber. On road feel is very similar but quieter with  Kumho tyres. seems to be more sporty with excellent acceleration braking etc. Driving position like the Caliber is excellent and seats very comfortable, A pillars slightly less obstuctive than the Caliber. Heating & Ventilation being Climate control is very superior to the Caliber. However the instruments in my opinion are a Mickey Mouse design too small legends & difficult to read with sun glasses, especially  cramped  fuel& engine temperature gauges.why are car manufacturers with all their experience so bloody stupid. Only thing  I miss from the Caliber is the tyre pressure monitor gauge and separate trip meters. The trip meter on the Cruze is in tied in a Menu system with the .Average Fuel consumption display. Will report on fuel consumption shortly. Same engine and platform as the latest Astra but a hell of a lot cheaper. Finally Chev Cruze has a better spec. than the Caliber includes Traction control ESP & a 5 Star NCAP rating it is a better car than the Caliber.IMO.

Any chance to actually answer the question asked.  You have more expirence than I do, don't make me laugh,  you are expirenced at something i'll give you that.

I asked why you still come in here when you no longer have a Caliber.  If Like others who have moved onto other cars, but still like the brand and the cars I completely understand.  I'm a massive fan of Delta's don't own one now but do frequent the integrale forums.
You on the other hand dislike the Caliber, we heard about all the way through your ownership, and now your in here spouting about your Daewoo, I dont give a monkeys about your Daewoo Crud, and neither do most others on here.  Hopefully your nan was like mine and said," if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything"

How about your try that for a change, because all you look like now is some bloke who no longer own a caliber but is still winging about it.

http://www.chevroletownersclub.co.uk/

you can chat about all thing Daewoo and slag off the caliber to your hearts content

they obviously have the same advertising principle as dodge. Only know what it looks like because they have a team in the world touring car series.
