I've like the Cali, but it had its problems two kids and 4 yrs later here it goes:
Current millage 37K SXT sport 56 plate.
One front suspension leaking
Bushes in the link arms
Brake discs skimmed
ECU flash to cure ESP flickering
One CAT that was very expensive just made the warranty!
Serviced the diesel myself for about ?40 every year.
The privillage was the best thing and it got us out of trouble a few times( free recovery) its run out now and not sure what it costs but you can buy recovery for ?35 even if its run out on oldere models with the same level of cover.
Ohh yeah the sound system from Boston Acoustics are one of the best systems I've heard in any Lux car.
Fuel I Avg about 40 MPG on motorway keeping it under 70 about 50 MPG
Apart from those outlined the car is great I'll worry at 60K when the brakes and cooling sysytem will need to be done, but confident its never let me down yet!
VW do make the best diesel blocks and thats why we bought ours so I could get parts if Dodge ever pulled out of the UK market! :-)
