Original stero harness to aftermarket stereo iso lead

Which brand of after market stereo???

as E-bay sellers do conversion iso leads....depending on after market brand..

pioneer, i think i've managed to source one, will let you know if it fits. But it was hard work, noone could get one, not halfords or 2 other specialist stores.

i'm afraid its the wrong year an plug type, the caliber version doesn't fit, it appears noone makes one over here and its nearly ?80 to ship one from the usa. Im running out of ideas, they all talk about keeping the can bus working and not having a convenional 12v supply, i cant fit my new headunit

thank you, been reading up aswell, most tell me if i disrupt the can bus system that runs throught the head unit the whole system can fail, abs and windows etc? confusing myself evenmore lol

There probably is a lead to suit you.  You just need to adapt the newer type USA plug to the standard UK one i assume.

The can bus will be fine, as long as you don't connect it!  The car will just complain it has lost communication with the radio, but this is not critical and you won't know its doing it.

I finally bought a caqble to keep the can bus intact, however the cable supplied only has a dimmer feed not ilumination, if i connect these together will it do the same job?
