Just a note to let you all know, i dont know how much cally dealers charge to re-gas the aircon, but just took the wifes ( not a cally but wouldnt have made any difference ) to halfords, charged me ?29.99. Tested the refrigerant pressure/level and Even did it whilst i waited
Works like a dream now.
I'm over the moon, well done Halfords.      :-)

Yep totaly agree thats were i had my old Rover 600 done there,....... and they gave me the bomb thingy at a reduced cheep price to clear the air con out,all very helpfull and done in a few mins,

Just having the 3 year service today along with an MOT and the Dealer phoned up and recommended I should have the Air-Con re-gassed. On special at the moment for ?99. :huh:

Said no as it was starting to get very expensive and thought I would check on here. Though and behold ?30 at Halfords.

Strange! My dad needed his car regassed about two weeks ago, so having read this thread  we went to halfords and was told that they don't do it anymore. So maybe it depends of which halfords you go to.
